Ingen voldsomme overraskelser

Endelig er Oscar-nominasjonene på plass. Ni filmer kjemper om den gjeveste prisen:

  • Philomena
  • 12 Years a Slave
  • The Wolf of Wall Street

Flest nominasjoner gikk til “Gravity” og “American Hustle”, som begge mottok ti stykk. “12 Years a Slave” følger like bak med ni.

De største overraskelsene var vrakingen av skuespillerne Tom Hanks (“Captain Phillips”), Emma Thompson (“Saving Mr. Banks”) og Robert Redford (“All Is Lost”), samt regissør Paul Greengrass (“Captain Phillips”).

Danske “Jakten” ble nominert til beste utenlandske film, og vi fryder oss over det. Litt overraskende er det at storartede “Blå er den varmeste fargen” uteble. Vi fryder oss også over at “Ernest & Celestine” ble nominert i klassen beste animasjonsfilm. Alle disse nevnte tre filmene har vi trillet sekser for i løpet av fjoråret.

En funfact som er verdt å nevne: “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa” er nominert til Oscar, og – som du sikkert kan tenke deg til – nominasjonen kommer i kategorien beste make-up og hår.

I høst spådde vi i filmsnakk.no utfallet av akkurat dagens nominasjonsoffentliggjøring, og vi er godt fornøyd med resultatet. Den aller største bommerten er den totale uteblivelsen av George Clooneys “The Monuments Men”. Men dette har lite å gjøre med kvaliteten på filmen – den har nemlig blitt utsatt. Etterarbeidet tok litt lengre tid enn antatt, og med det er filmen ute av årets pris-race. En annen film som har forsvunnet litt er Ron Howards “Rush”. Filmens sterkeste kort, Daniel Brühl som beste mannlige birolle, kom til kort, og med det ble nominasjonsfangsten lik null. Vi hadde også “The Butler” med på vår liste, men vi er i grunnen glad den heller ikke fikk noen nominasjoner. Den var veldig skuffende.
